This is my personal view of some of the courses that Landmark offers.  For perspective, I am a person who has been committed to serving others with my life.  I have been involved in social work for the past few years.  Previously I was a religious worker.  I have also travelled and lived extensively around the globe.  The courses I have participated in with Landmark are the finest of their kind.  In fact, they really fall into a unique category.  They are neither training, motivational, spiritual, therapy, or group process although a person could easily say they relate to these areas.  The courses are powerfully effective in providing genuine tools for truly making your own life extraordinary.  more

The Landmark Forum is the entry level program for all of the courses offered by Landmark.  It takes place in a large group of people as a conversation between the program leader and the participants.  Topics are guided to examine how we as human beings function.  As the conversation develops, it allows for a great deal of personal observation.  Those who wish to share the insights they see about themselves are encouraged to share them; many people do not and this works fine too.  This kind of inquiry allows for truly unexpected breakthroughs in areas of life that are important to most people. details    my take    my results
The Curriculum for Living includes four courses:  The Landmark Forum, the Forum in Action seminar, The Advanced Course, and Self-Expression and Leadership Program .  The Landmark Forum is the main course and is complete by itself.  It's purpose is to enable a person to have more freedom in saying how their life will be.  The Forum in Action brings the experience of the Landmark Forum out into the daily arena of life.  The Advanced Course is about creating a future for oneself which comes from the core of each one's individual passion.  The Self-Expression and Leadership Program is about having the people in your life see you in the way you would like to be seen--as an expression of what you are passionate about in life. details    my take    my results
Surveys show that the top five reported benefits that almost everyone reports receiving out of the Landmark Forum are:  1) relatedness with others, 2) personal productivity, 3) effective communication, 4) making the right choices/pursuing what is important to you, 5) living life fully.  People get lots of other interesting results but these five are the things that almost everyone reports. details    my take    my results
In the Landmark Forum, you look at the design principles of human beings--how things actually work.  The things that are presented are not the only way of looking at life but it is surprising what you will find when you examine how your life is determined by the choices you have made.  Seeing these things gives tremendous new power to live life in the way that you choose--the way you say it will be.  Some "design principles":  winning formula, racket, already/always listening, empty and meaningless. details    my take    my results
Most of Landmark's activities are carried out by non-paid assistants.  This is not typical of any kind of business yet there is an assisting program in place which is a valuable training ground in and of itself. details    my take    my results
Landmark offers about 25 different seminars which meet weekly for three months.  There is a "Communication" curriculum which includes two weekend courses and one year-long course.  A semi-separate component of Landmark is the Wisdom Unlimited Course and its two sequels which last about a year each.  There is also the Introduction Leader Course which develops a personal speaking and presentation skills. details    my take    my results
